Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm – Review

This is my first beauty review and I wanted to write about a product that I have been loving for a while now, I was gifted the Clinique Cleansing Balm for Christmas and was excited to try it out. I am pretty lazy when it comes to skincare, I use make up wipes and Micellar water to take my makeup off every night and cleanse my face. It works pretty well for me and I have been doing the same routine for as long as I can remember, so when I get a new skincare product I’m always excited to try it.

The cleansing balm comes in a cute purple pot, I got the smaller one (30ml) and was curious as to how long it would last. I was really surprised by how little I needed to take a whole face of makeup off, I rubbed a small amount into my face then just used a cloth and water to rinse off my makeup, it glided off my face effortlessly. It was so easy to remove my mascara and stubborn eyelash glue , I didn’t need to keep on scrubbing away. My skin felt so smooth and super soft after using this, if i wasn’t so lazy with my night time routine I would use it every single night without fail.

You can buy the 30ml pot for around £9/£10 and the 125ml costs £25 on the Clinique website. If you would like to buy the 30ml travel size one you can purchase it off amazon here.

All in all, I don’t have a single bad word to say about this product. It removes heavy makeup so easily and took me just a few minutes to get rid of every ounce of makeup off my face. If you haven’t already I would definitely recommend trying this product, I am sure you’ll love it just as much as I do (the reviews speak for itself!).

Have you tried this product? What are your thoughts on it? Can you recommend any similar products? Let me know below!

I hope you found this post useful, thank you so much for reading!
